April and Heather are the very best of friends. Best friends who share a birthday week and who do said birthday week in style. Everyone should have as many celebrations as these two do! This session fell in the middle of their birthdays, and I was super excited to meet these two as they’re fellow Peoria-area photographers at Ah Snap Photography, whose work is just beautiful! They are absolutely darling and kept me laughing the whole evening long.
Now, a bit of back story on this session. Google maps steered me very VERY wrong, and we were “misplaced” in the woods for about an hour, hiking up hills and down hills and sweating through our pretty little dresses. What a way to meet! Then at our next location, Heather twisted her foot and was in some serious “ouch” but maintained her bubbly smiling demeanor through it all.
I’m so happy to have been able to snag a few pictures of these two and highlight their infectious laughter and creative personalities!

Cute session! Love all of the gooey light going on. My favorite, though, it the direct sunlight shot (7th from the top). Great job!
