Daniel and Sarah | Engagement

Daniel and Sarah are kind of like a “super couple” in my book. Completely at ease with one another, completely adorable, and completely up for anything (flooded rivers, skin-burrowing burrs, face-whipping branches, and lumpy cement) Sounds like the Lewis and Clark expedition, and it was close, but not quite that epic. I knew these two from high school – mainly the French class that we were all in together. Perfectly enough, these two are high-school sweethearts, and are actually getting married on their 8 year anniversary which fortunately falls on a Friday next year. I simply cannot wait for the beauty and pure love that is sure to surround their wedding day!

Congrats you two, and may God richly bless you during these months leading up to your wedding.

I just stumbled across your blog from the OSP Forum and I just wanted to tell you how beautiful your photos are! I look at a lot of photographer’s work and don’t often find something that I am impressed enough with to comment on, but you do amazing work. :)

Eric and Megan | Engagement

I feel like a broken record sometimes when I write these entries, but all of my couples are truly fantastic enough to merit such praise! These two were so much fun. So down to earth and completely adorable with each other.  They’ll be my first wedding of 2010 and after 3 months of being cooped up without weddings,  it will be quite a welcome start to the season.

Congrats you two!

Drew and Amanda | Wedding

With promises from the weather man of a lovely, sunny, 60-something degree day, we set off for Drew and Amanda’s wedding…only to be met with wind, clouds, and what felt like all of 20 degrees. I’m fairly certain that nothing could deter the happiness of these two though! I was seriously giggling like a 3 year old all day long..okay, not ALL day – but there was just such an abundance of joy at this wedding – it was rather contagious.

LOVED these shoes that Amanda went all the way to Tennessee to get;)

Gorgeous train – although I’m not sure how tiny little Amanda carried around all that dress all day! The things we do for our new husbands…:)

I love grandparents – some must thing I’m crazy for the way I stalk them with my camera at weddings, but they’re just so precious.

Just about the happiest father-daughter dance I’ve been fortunate enough to witness. I may or may not have gotten a bit teary at this one…

Capping off a beautiful reception at Kickapoo Creek Winery with a little swing dancing – this day was completely, wonderfully, perfect. Congratulations Drew and Amanda!

Beautiful pictures! I love that you love capturing the grandparents – it’s a sad thought but they won’t be around forever, and you’re capturing great memories. Neither of our grandparents are around to see us get married, but for those that are fortunate to have them celebrate with them, you create memories that will last the couple a lifetime.

WOW; What an amazing job! Of course it helps to have a beautiful bride like Amanda! You did a tremendous job of capturing those sweet moments that we think are unnoticed! I can’t wait until Amanda brings the complete album of pictures!
