What an amazing wedding – the whole atmosphere of the day was just awesome and could not have been better orchestrated. The church was cozy and personal, the message was awesome and the reception was AMAZING. Every detail was perfection and we were so happy to have been there to capture it. We really loved that Mary had a “man of honor” in her brother – such a fun and unique day!!

April and Heather are the very best of friends. Best friends who share a birthday week and who do said birthday week in style. Everyone should have as many celebrations as these two do! This session fell in the middle of their birthdays, and I was super excited to meet these two as they’re fellow Peoria-area photographers at Ah Snap Photography, whose work is just beautiful! They are absolutely darling and kept me laughing the whole evening long.

Now, a bit of back story on this session. Google maps steered me very VERY wrong, and we were “misplaced” in the woods for about an hour, hiking up hills and down hills and sweating through our pretty little dresses. What a way to meet! Then at our next location, Heather twisted her foot and was in some serious “ouch” but maintained her bubbly smiling demeanor through it all.

I’m so happy to have been able to snag a few pictures of these two and highlight their infectious laughter and creative personalities!

I’m finally getting on-board with Christmas music this year, it always takes awhile for it to really seem like Christmas, and with today’s blustery winds and chilly temps, it’s beginning to look and feel alot like Christmas!

These two were such a wonderfully laid back couple – the wedding was held in the Metamora square on a beautiful sunny (and a bit windy!) October day. One of the beauties of a small-town wedding is that you can take a horse-drawn carriage directly from ceremony to reception site in a matter of minutes… How charming! We wandered around the Metamora Fields golf course for a bit as the October sun set over the ponds. It was truly just a a perfect autumnal wedding!
