It suits him well..

The first look…

It had JUST gotten done dumping .87 inches of rain on us as we huddled under a parking deck hoping it would pass. Chris was just hoping for that 1 inch of rain (Bremer Jewelry’s “pray for rain” program) and we were all sure that they had gotten it. Unfortunately they were JUST shy of that inch at the airport. Another fun factor to their day was the sweltering heat. It was about 943,002 degrees and 300% humidity but you would never know it from looking at these two. I will say that Bethany was exceptionally awesome about her dress getting wet – my kind of bride!

Fact: It has been scientifically proven that these two are incapable of taking anything other than an amazing picture.

My favorite picture from my wedding day is a black and white of my dad and I in the hallway right before the ceremony began…I love this one just about as much.

I remember as I kneeled in the back to take this image thinking “Wow, this is the perfect ceremony.” The love felt from family and friends was so evident, the tears and tissues were plentiful, the message was completely 100% personal to the couple and the love these two have for each other and for the Lord was just absolutely beautiful.

Such love![]()

Chris brought back “gifts” from his missions trip to the Dominican Republic. Customs must have been really slacking on this one![]()

Chris and Bethany have such fun, friendly and outgoing personalities, it’s no mystery that their closest friends would be just as fun and full of personality. This is definitely one of my favorite bridesmaid pictures of all time.

I think I would like to hire these guys to come to all of our weddings and just be the groomsmen every week. Yeah, they came up with this one on their own![]()

Gorgeous flowers and reception decor created by Heaven on Earth

When we walked into the Pere Marquette ballroom…it was one of those double-take moments. The lighting in here was simply STUNNING thanks to Sound and Light Creations. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again – hire these folks for your reception!! It 100% changes the mood of a room and this light so perfectly suited the color-scheme of the wedding and set the mood for one of my favorite receptions ever.

Again, one of the most fun receptions ever! Thanks to one of the most fun couples ever!

Chris and Bethany’s first dance was wonderfully choreographed by Christyn of Sinclair Dance Studio Now I’m certainly no expert on anything dance, but I will say that this was an excellent one – set to “Green Eyes” by Coldplay.
Wishing you two so much happiness in all your years to come! I’m sure I’ll be seeing the two of you around and about![]()
