I believe this was a reaction to “mr. popper” (I hope I got his name right) the tuxedoed penguin, “blowing bubbles” for Chris and Sammie’s exit.
Apparently this little guy has been with Chris and his friends for a number of years, so it was only fitting that he made an appearance at the wedding, all done up in his wedding finest by Sammie’s mom
