I’m going to start writing at the top of posts rather than the bottom – makes more sense eh?
Also for anyone paying attention other than me – this is a “new blog”! It looks surprisingly similar, but it’s actually a wordpress rather than blogger. It’s SO much easier and more user friendly than the other site was. Maybe now I’ll post more often!
This is my best friend’s wedding – ceremony. So I take no claim on any of these pictures – Lindy and her good friend Jenna took care of the ceremony for me as my husband and I were in it! A little background information on Christy and my friendship. We both went to Peoria Christian School and were in the same class from kindergarden – senior year. We were best of friends from 1st grade – 7th grade, then had a few years of “off friendship” before becoming friends again towards the end of senior year (thanks yearbook and senior retreat!) “The early years” definitely hold the best and funniest memories for me, as included in my “poignant and touching” matron of honor speech. Christy claims the only time she cried was during my speech. From laughing. About getting in a fight about eating favorite pink lint. But that’s what friends and speeches are for, right?
Anyway, we all decided that we wouldn’t cry unless Christy’s dad cried (he’s the pastor of their church and married Christy and Allen) He didn’t cry, but I did anyway. Just a little
The ceremony went off without a hitch, I didn’t hand Christy’s bouquet to her dad (Christy did this during my wedding while trying to get the ring…) and after getting pelted in the face with birdseed – they were off to the reception!
